About Yichun Ding

Excellent design and implementation experiences in Cisco enterprise and Nortel Telecom software. Key player in many important projects of software products in Linux and Embedded Linux platform, using Waterfall and Agile processes. Extensive coding and debugging experiences on inter-process communications using TCP, RAW IP, Event notification and Callback, shared memory, and API. Extensive design and implementation experiences in enterprise software involving cross-platform components in different domains (open source, VOIP software, vendor driver/FW, CUCM, and AP/WLAN controller). Very versatile to work on new areas in C/C++/Java. Most recent technical contributions are WiFi platform software design, WiFi PKI certificate management and WiFi secure profile management (encryption, secure bulk provisioning, and certificate enrollment), and VOIP system using SIP protocol. Frequent interaction and troubleshooting with WiFi chip vendor to achieve specific WiFi requirents and functions. Self-starter with ability to multitask and work independently, being able to coordinate and complete multiple tasks in deadline-oriented environment. Excellent communication abilities and quick learner to adapt any new protocol and framework. Great team-player.
