About Yida Yang

I am an analyst specialising in Financial Engineering and Risk Management with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Financial Analytics and Risk Management from the University of Waterloo and have already received a Master's degree in Financial Engineering and Risk Management from Imperial College London in 2024. Through undergraduate and graduate studies, I have accumulated a solid foundation in finance and mathematics, and gained rich practical experience in several internships, including investment banking, data analysis and risk management.I am good at data analysis using tools such as Python, R and SQL, and can handle complex financial data sets and use statistical and machine learning models to support risk assessment and investment decisions. In previous internships, I have used Monte Carlo simulations and stress tests to optimize risk assessment models, and tested the effectiveness of market pricing through CAPM models in independent studies. In addition, during my internship in investment banking, I conducted in-depth analysis of IPO failure cases and accumulated rich insights into the industry.As an analyst with a passion for data-driven and technological innovation, I look forward to further development in the field of model risk management and quantitative analysis.
