About Yiding Wu

Mr. Wu joined Haynes Beffel & Wolfeld LLP as a patent agent in 2011. Mr. Yiding Wu specializes in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in software engineering and electrical engineering. He is actively involved in obtaining patent protection in areas of technology such as software, digital circuits, and memory devices. Mr. Wu has more than twenty years of engineering experience in the semiconductor industry. From 1984 to 1988, he was a software engineer with VLSI Technology Inc. at San Jose, California. From 1988 to 1989, Mr. Wu was a senior software engineer with Zycad Corp. in Menlo Park, California. From 1989 to 2008, Mr. Wu held various software and IC design engineering positions at Xilinx Inc, a semiconductor industry leader and the inventor of the FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array). Mr. Wu has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (1984) from Stanford University at Stanford, California. Mr. Wu is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (2010). Mr. Wu holds six U.S. patents. He is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
