About Ying Sun
I am originally from China and came to the United States in 1987. My career at Dow Corning started late 1995 after obtained a Master degree in Chemistry major from DePaul University. Initially I worked in Research & Development. Two year later I shifted directions and moved to the Health and Environmental Science department and worked for 7 years on instrumental analysis and test article characterization/control under GLP Regulation. In the beginning of 2004 I accepted a foreign assignment in Global Analytical Sciences Department to be relocated to China. In the following 4 years, I established an analytical group for the company. Shortly after my relocation back, I had opportunity to join the Global Product Safety & Regulatory Compliance department and have been leading the Americas Regulatory Compliance group since May 2009.
