About Yingze Wang

A rather passionate user experience designer with a background in Industrial Design, Psychology and Human Computer Interaction. I love being thrown into the deep end with a team of enthusiastic people and coming up with something great through quick iterations, a clear mission, good analytics, and lots of user feedback. After the masters graduation, I've worked with large corporations such as Microsoft, Nokia where I do my best work on teams that are deeply passionate about the product we're making, customer experience always comes first, and where we are always encouraged to have a "why" behind the design practice. I'm currently looking to resume my professional UX design career after taking a sabbatical on practising teaching in Mathematics in some public schools and colleges. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to grab a drink and chat about design, psychology, sports, different schools of the Chinese calligraphy, or even some fun maths puzzles during my teaching •HCI, human factors, user experience design, usability evaluation, information architecture •User Experience Design, including documenting functional & non-functional requirements, developing user scenarios based on requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders, and conducting usability studies •Information Architecture, including defining site layout, structure, navigation, functionality, and interaction of complex Web sites and applications; producing user journeys/flow diagrams, sitemaps and wireframes/interactive prototypes •Multidisciplinary background with solid Quali & Quant analytical skills
