About Ylva Espling

I have two strong passions; to deliver successful digital solutions with great user experiences, and to contribute to a more sustainable future. I know the tools and methods, and have the experience needed, to build usable digital solutions that meet both user needs and business goals. In recent years I have been heavily influenced by product operating model, continuous discovery and product led growth principles. Examples of roles that suits me- Product manager roles where user centricity and user experience is an important success factor- Cross-functional product discovery to get a deep understanding of customer needs, identify business and product opportunities, and ideate on solutions- Product owner roles helping a development team keep focus on the top priority things and deliver customer value continuously and iteratively- UX roles leaning towards user research and concept design- CX roles with focus on improving customer satisfaction and experience throughout the customer journey- Coaching and training to improve way of working within UX, product management and product discovery. I've been interested in environmental and sustainability issues for a long time. I have also taken courses in sustainable development and environmental psychology that have helped me to get a broad understanding what it would take to build a more sustainable society, and how to help people to change to more sustainable behaviours.
