About Yoan di

As a specialist in laser-matter interaction and femtosecond laser micro-processing, my work involves the technological transfer of femtosecond laser solutions from research to industry, identifying and implementing upscaling strategies to optimize industrial adoption. I am responsible for scientific developments for cutting-edge laser processes and contribute to the scientific strategy of the group, drafting technical reports and coordinating national and European research projects. I lead a small technical team, participate in international conferences and exhibitions and provide support in intellectual property management and technology monitoring to ensure innovations at the forefront of the field. I hold a Ph.D. in Optics, Photonics, and Microwave Engineering from Université Jean Monnet Saint-Étienne, as well as an Engineering degree in Optics and Electronics from Telecom Saint-Étienne, with a specialization in Optics, Lasers, and Materials equivalent to an M2 from École Polytechnique Montréal. Beyond my technical skills, I bring strong human qualities to my work. I am hardworking, perfectionist, demanding, organized, and autonomous, aiming for excellence in each of my professional expertises.
