About Yoav Allon

I hold a BA in Cinema and Television Arts (multimedia focus), from California State University in Northridge. I studied Filmmaking as well as post production, everything from previz and editing to Visual effects and posting/release. A hard worker, I thrive in a team environment and am able to grasp new concepts quickly. For almost two years I worked as a Tech support agent/Customer Service Representative for A Point of Sales software/hardware company (AccuPOS), helping customers by remotely accessing their systems and fixing networking/system and software issues, as well as recommending proper hardware. Prior to that I worked in the Visual effects industry as a Stereo Compositor converting films into 3D using Nuke, AE and Silhouette. I have on-set experience as a Production Assistant, working on show such as Sons of Anarchy, Undercovers, and Southland. I worked closely with the Camera and Directorial department and gained experience with motion picture Cameras (Red, Canon, Sony, Arri) and lighting equipment (Kino, litepanels, Arri). With this diverse experience, I believe I can bring a lot to the available position.
