About Yolanda Laviolette

I have been working at Highlights for Children since July 2018. It has been the perfect place for me and I couldn't be happier in my career. My most recent positions have been working as a contract production artist for Nationwide Children's Hospital and Zaner-Bloser, Thirty-one gifts and Justice. Prior to that, I worked as a production designer for Fahlgren Mortine. There I worked on direct mailers, ads, catalogs, and web banners for clients such as McDonald’s, Kroger, Colfax and Nova Southwestern University, just to name a few. My other experience includes working as a contract mechanical artist at Bath & Body Works and as a contract graphic designer at Limited Brands/Victoria’s Secret International. It has provided me with experience and knowledge about the company’s brands as well as given me a new knowledge for the retail and fashion aspect of business.Before my move to Ohio, I was employed as a graphic designer at Stuller Inc, a jewelry manufacturer. Working for Stuller’s in-house creative team led me to work on projects ranging from logo design to creating marketing and promotional materials, corporate identity, copy writing, product campaigns, special projects and catalogs. I was responsible for these projects from start to finish, giving me valuable time management and communication skills.All of my employment experiences have kept me proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshopand Microsoft Office Suite. My multifaceted background, creative hobbies and endeavors, as wellall of my past experiences gives me what is needed to be a valuable member of your team.Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
