Yolanda Traylor has over 30 years of business and consulting experience, specializing in business process re-engineering, process improvement and HR workforce analytics. In her current role, Yolanda serves on the Workday@IBM Human Capital Management Team focusing on streamlining processes for increased efficiencies and more manager and employee self-service HR activities. Outside of work, Yolanda is in her 15th year as Co-Chair of the IBM Atlanta Spirit Initiative, an internal employee engagement program designed to increase employee morale and volunteerism in the Metro Atlanta area. Highlights IBM Experience As a Global Workday SME, Yolanda led the Workday@IBM Organization Management implementation for the US, Europe, Canada and Latin America Releases. Using an Agile approach, the team designed, tested and deployed the Workday@IBM HR management system in 104 countries over a 5-year period. Yolanda also worked on numerous cross-functional HR Teams with Mobility, Compensation, Absence and Employee & Labor Relations, and is currently pursuing her Workday Pro Certification in Human Capital Management (HCM). As a Talent Partner, Yolanda supported IBM Research with the development of workforce strategies and operational plans to achieve the business unit’s talent objectives. Plans included measurement and reporting of the Research talent management system leveraging analytics for recruitment, development and retention strategies. As the Training Team Lead, Yolanda conducted numerous Workforce Analytics training sessions in India, Dubai, and the USA to help HR employees embrace the Cognos On Demand Reporting model. Later the material was packaged as a 3-day online course to help HR employees analyze HR data and metrics to drive business action. Early in her career as an Internal Consultant, Yolanda worked on numerous business transformation engagements, which helped form IBM’s On Demand Business Strategy. After evaluating IBM’s readiness to pursue e-business opportunities, Yolanda and her team developed the e-business education strategy for Global Services employees. Credentials Yolanda received a BA from Princeton University, an MBA from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. In her spare time, Yolanda is an active board member and volunteer for the United Way of Metro Atlanta and the INROADS Alumni Association. She is also a Lifetime Member of the National Black MBA Association and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
