About Yolande Albert

I have been in banking for over 20 years. I have retail, business banking and corporate experience and this has enabled me to grow and develop myself. I have gained much skill into performance management, employee relations, hiring of employees, compliance, operational risk, on boarding via know your client(KYC), political exposed persons(PEPS), prescreening and building client & stakeholders relationships. I work with local clients in South Africa and multinational clients in different countries giving me the opportunity to engage with different C-suite and treasury levels. I also project manage the smooth transition into our organisation I have also been in the Asset finance division and involved in financing of trucks and trailers, yellow goods and machinery in which I have gained much knowledge in this area. Along my journey in banking, I developed my leadership skill and have 10 years’ experience in various senior management roles. I surround myself with people that are driven by integrity, empathy and putting people first. Being able to provide value is important and staying humble is a key.
