About Yonca Belce
I am a chemist holding a Ph.D. in materials science & engineering. I have research experience on controlled growth of conductive metal-organic frameworks and synthesis of uniform zeolitic imidazolate thin films by taking the advantage of microfluidic technologies. I have worked on the development of vanadium and aqueous-organic redox flow batteries as well. Currently, I am working on thin film engineering of electrode materials (NMC622, NMC811, graphite, etc) via ALD/MLD (atomic layer deposition) for Li-ion batteries. I strongly believe that interdisciplinary approaches are essential for novel improvements. As a Ph.D. holder in materials science with chemistry background, I have initiated CellFlow -biotechnology start-up to develop regenerative cell separation systems via lab-on-chip technology- which is supported by ACCIO-Startup Capital for Deeptech Technologies 2024.
