About Yong Chen

6+ years' experience in software testing area. 5 years' working in Schlumberger Beijing Geoscience Center QA team, 1 year as QA coordinator for BGC Formation Evaluation Discipline to make test strategy, test plan, test report, design test cases and test result analysis for Formation Evaluation Discipline projects. 1.5 year as Schlumberger BGC QA automation team manager to build and manage automation team to support crossing BGC disciplines’ projects, 1 year as Schlumberger BGC QA automation team technical lead to lead team and provide technical solutions. 2+ years as software testing engineer. I had more than 4 years working experience in UI automation test. I was expert in end to end UI automation test strategy and familiar with most of the market UI automation tools. During these period I developed, maintained and managed UI automation test for 10+ project crossing 5 disciplines in BGC. With the 6 years’ software testing experience, I was expert in software development and quality control process. I was familiar with PLMP or AGILE projects and followed standard to implement software testing. I had two months oil field engineer experience, familiar with wireline jobs including wireline job process and wireline tools. As a field engineer I could able to handle the 24hours none stopped tough work and working 7 days a week in the opening oil field in Oklahoma, USA. I had one year experience as the business representative for Xinjiang CNPC Safety & Environmental Engineering Co, ltd (Houston, TX). I initialed the Merger and acquisition (M&A) with EB5 Targeted Employment Area project for Xinjiang CNPC Safety & Environmental Engineering Co, ltd in Texas and explored new technology cooperation within North American.
