About Yong Lee

I am the founder and CEO of Vision Point Systems, a technology and engineering consulting company headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia. Vision Point Systems (VPS) has four offices in Virginia, one office in Philadelphia, and employee presence at commercial and government client sites in Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Florida, California, and Japan. My consulting teams deliver Appian BPM implementation, performance testing, systems administration, and custom software engineering services. We also provide cloud telephony solutions based on Twilio enabling our customers to embrace the future of telephony. Our services in the Federal space involve materials and software engineering to assist the DoD preserve its assets. We perform materials and corrosion engineering, prototype development, and create software for vehicle and ship inspections. Currently we have prime contracts with the Naval Surface Warfare Center. I founded VPS in the fall of 2002 with the belief that strong processes and conscientious employees are fundamental to project and business success. I applied VPS' focus toward serving the needs of life science companies in the beginning. Soon thereafter we were serving companies in the telecommunications, manufacturing, technology, wholesale importers/distributors, and non-profit industries. With the goal of starting a government consulting practice, I hired a management team in 2004 to achieve the goal of establishing our status as a prime Federal contractor in 2005. Our government work began with software development to conduct data analysis and data visualization for corrosion studies. This led to the beginning of a thriving corrosion and materials engineering practice in 2005. In my personal life, I enjoy doting on my five children, classical music/piano, and motorcycling.
