Health economist with a Ph.D degree in economics and extensive training in aging and urban health - Significant research experience in both academia and analytic consulting industry - Extensive experience in designing and implementing research studies to evaluate the health and economic consequences of medical treatment, health intervention as well as public health policy - Expertise in advanced econometric modeling and statistical analysis, including propensity score matching, instrumental variable (IV) estimation, longitudinal design, and other quantitative methods aimed at causal inference - Hands-on experience managing and analyzing complex survey data and administrative data, i.e, health insurance claims data - Technical expertise in SAS, Stata, SQL, TreeAge and VBA applications - Experience developing and teaching courses in health economics, public management economics, economic evaluation and various health policy topics
