About Yousaf Awan

I have a six-years of experience working as a substitute for Alexandria City Public School since 2015. I have also been hired by Fairfax City Public Schools as a substitute teacher since October 2020. I have worked for special ed teachers, paraprofessional, and class teachers, respectively. I also had a chance to work as classroom monitor. I believe I could contribute to the umbrella of FCPS as a dedicated team member and could also fulfil my dream of contributing to the society. I believe it would give me some valuable experience. I am looking forward to work with a team of skilled professionals i.e, special ed. teachers, class teachers, principals, and coordinators who share a similar goal to facilitate educational needs. I therefore confirm my availability 24 hours and I am very flexible in any given circumstance/ situation. My extensive knowledge on art education and classroom management can serve the school needs. I am currently doing Master of Arts in Teaching. My plan for coming years includes getting a teaching licensure and gaining a vital education experience. If I get an opportunity to teach in your school prior to achieving my MAT degree, I would like to prevail that opportunity. My long- term goal is to become a professional artist and serve my community becoming an ideal teacher.
