I’m so happy you're here! I'm Youselene Beauplan. I'm a full-time Ph.D. student, researcher, and aspiring Developmental Scientist at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro studying Human Development and Family Studies using a transformative lens. I previously earned a Master's Degree in this subject area. I'm a published researcher focused on emotions, gender and masculinity as it relates to traumatic experiences, gendered emotion socialization, and masculinity at the intersection of equity and public policy. I'm passionate about this area because there are several implications to emotions socialization. For example, emotions fuel perceptions and development across sectors including dynamic interactions in our lives such as, behavior, mental health, and overall wellbeing.
