About Youssef Abdulghani

My intrinsic thirst for knowledge has led me on a journey of discovery in the fascinating field of astrophysics. This journey has endowed me with a profound understanding of the universe's most enigmatic phenomena, ranging from the intricate dance of X-ray black hole binary systems to the spectral signatures of distant galaxies. I finished my Ph.D. in Physics and through support by NASA’s Swift Guest Investigator program, I conducted research on estimating the distance and accretion disk inclination of black hole X-ray binaries and mapping their distribution throughout the galaxy. In parallel to my PhD research, I have enriched my skill set by stufying concepts in machine learning and statistical analysis, specifically through the pursuit of graduate certificate in artificial intelligence. My journey is not merely a quest for knowledge but also a dedication to deciphering the universe's mysteries and sharing these insights with the world. I'm exicited to be currently leveraging my expertise to conduct research in Human-centric AI.
