About Youssef Koubaa

From a young age, my fascination with technology has been a driving force in my life. While my interests are diverse, I have been fortunate to align one of them with my professional journey. I graduated with a degree in computer science from the Higher School of Economics and Commercial Sciences of Tunis-Montfleury. In September 2023, I began my career as a Work-Study Backend Developer at VERMEG, in collaboration with Esprit, to complete my studies and become a Software Engineer. In 2024, I took my first onboarding steps into the Regulatory Domain, where I was fascinated by the opportunities ahead. During this period: I transitioned from a Backend Developer role to take charge of and maintain BDD projects and an API project, gaining valuable experience in these areas. After successfully managing these responsibilities, I returned to my Backend Developer role, further strengthening my technical expertise. By the end of 2024, Regnology acquired VERMEG’s regulatory reporting business line, marking a major transition in my journey. Since joining Regnology in 2025, I have embraced new challenges, expanding my expertise in the RegTech industry with a leading player in the field.
