Hey! let’s connect ‍ I’m Ysabelle Alesna, a digital content creator and writer based in the Philippines. If you couldn’t tell from my LinkedIn profile, I’m big on communication, media, and writing. I was born to a family of storytellers, whether it was my mum's over-exaggerated chitchat or dad's nightly bedtime stories, it’s no surprise I ended up wanting to pursue a career involving writing. Flash forward to me packing my bags at age 19, saying goodbye to all my friends and family in the Philippines and moving to Australia to pursue my writing career. This was a thrilling and challenging time for me. Before my current role, I was completing my Bachelor in Journalism while working as an editorial assistant for a local Brisbane based lifestyle media company. After graduating from university, I attempted to manoeuvre my way around the workforce. It was initially difficult to navigate the job landscape due to a lack of work experience. Then one day I saw a job opening and decided to shoot my shot at digital marketing as a copywriter. I can say with confidence that I adore every bit of it. Nothing fuels the fire in my soul more than hearing clients compliment my writing. In the moments I am not typing away copy for clients or our company, you can find in the nearest book shop,(head tilted to the side trying to read book titles), in a hipster coffee shop with an almond cappuccino, or making my way to Messina for a post dinner gelato. Some quick fun facts about me: I spent my early childhood in Pakistan & Cambodia 🧈 I know how to churn my own butter (and add flavours too!)
