About Ysabelle Stepp

Hello! My name is Ysa and I am a clinical social worker in Salt Lake City. I am passionate about offering mental health care to clients of all backgrounds. I have had significant experience in working with adolescents in day treatment programs and am trained in several modalities— primarily ACT, DBT, and CBT. I also utilize client centered therapy, motivational interviewing skills, and trauma informed care in my work. I have supported clients in intensive behavioral healthcare since 2022, and have experience in de escalation and management of crises. At the moment, I am a therapist at PATH Behavioral Healthcare, a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for adolescents, where I facilitate group therapy sessions, family therapy, and provide individual support to clients. I am passionate about visual and musical art forms, and have several ongoing projects. I am a vocalist and songwriter in the band Homephone, where I also create visual designs and artwork for the project. I’ve had the opportunity to perform alongside well-known bands such as The Marías and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
