About Yu Ye
Yu Ye is an assistant professor in CAUP, Tongji University. As an urban designer and researcher, he was working as a Postdoc in the Future Cities Laboratory, SEC center, ETH Zurich. He also worked as a senior research assistant in the Faculty of Architecture, The University of Hong Kong. Yu obtained his Ph.D. of urban design in The University of Hong Kong and MSc of Urbanism in Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), the Netherlands. As an urban design practitioner, Yu holds the certification of urban design in the Netherlands and the certification of urban planning in China. As a researcher of urban design, Yu develops a quantitative morphological analysis tool to classify urban form and explore relationships between urban morphological features and vibrant urban lives. He has published a series of articles on international journals, e.g, Urban Morphology, Urban Design International, Journal of Space Syntax, with many other journal articles under review.
