I hold a bachelor's and master's degree in veterinary medicine and worked in the pig industry in China for two years and at Fast Genetics in Canada for three years. I have a deep understanding of the pig industry, particularly in areas such as swine disease, barn management, feed mill operation, breeding stock selection, and maintenance. I am currently a research assistant in swine welfare group in WCVM at University of Saskatchewan. I really enjoy my work, as it not only allows me to contribute to pig animal welfare, but also provides me with constant opportunities for learning and self-improvement, enabling me to make my own contribution to the pig industry.
