About Yue Han

As a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University, I am pursuing my PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on image processing and machine learning. I apply computer vision solutions to various industrial applications, such as microscopy image analysis, egocentric image recognition, and semiconductor metrology. I have gained valuable experience as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at KLA and a Machine Learning Researcher at HP, where I developed novel algorithms and architectures that improved the performance and accuracy of image segmentation and classification tasks. I have also collaborated with teams across domains, such as biologists, physicists, and engineers, to design and integrate solutions that meet the specific needs and constraints of each project. I am proficient in Python and various deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras. I have also published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences and received honors and distinctions for my academic achievements. I am passionate about advancing the state-of-the-art in machine learning and computer vision, and contributing to the development of innovative and impactful technologies.
