About Yuhao Wu

A self-motivated Researcher with a graduate research background in applying nonlinear optical techniques on complex surface systems. With 8+ years of hands-on experience in ultrafast laser systems, I took care of the Ti: Sapphire laser maintenance and repair duties in our research lab. Experienced in building and operating second-harmonic spectroscopy methods on molecular partitioning at the aerosol surface and molecular transportation through cell membranes. Learned perovskite thin film charge carrier ultrafast dynamics with time-resolved fluorescence and pump-probe spectroscopy. I am passionate about contributing to scientific research and innovation by exploring new opportunities and overcoming challenges.Skills: Ultrafast oscillator troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair (Coherent Micra-5) Nonlinear Optical System (SHG, SFG, Two-photon fluorescence, Transient Absorption/Pump Probe) Photonics Device (power meter, OPA, regenerative amplifier, FROG, pulse shaper, NOPA, etc.) Software and programming (NI LabVIEW, Python, C, SNLO, Illustrator, CAD, etc.) Data fitting and analysis (Igor and MATLAB) Analytical techniques (UV-Vis, FT-IR, fluorescence spectroscopies, GC/MS, HPLC, NMR, etc.) Biology (cell culture, flow cytometry, autoclave, liposome, zeta potential)
