About Yuichi Takemasa

Dr. Yuichi Takemasa is Deputy Director of Kajima Technical Research Institute (KaTRI) of Kajima Corporation. Before assigned as the current position, he was General Manager of Kajima Technical Research Institute Singapore (KaTRIS) from January 2017 to July 2022. For KaTRI and KaTRIS, see the following URLs. He was President of ASHRAE Singapore Chapter (ASC) in the 2021-2022 term. ASHRAE is American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-conditioning Engineers. His specialty is especially ZEB (zero energy building) and green building technologies, indoor thermal environment, HVAC systems, thermal performance of facades, natural ventilation, stack effect in high-rise buildings, macroscopic simulation models, CFD, HVAC design in offices, factories, plant factories. He is currently Deputy Director of KaTRI in charge of global expansion/global activities after he served as General Manager of Kajima Technical Research Institute Singapore (KaTRIS). He has been handling wider perspectives surrounding engineering and technologies in the building and construction fields after he was transfered to KaTRIS in September 2013.
