About Yukari Tsuchiya

As Program Assistant/Executive Assistant at The World Bank, I have been providing administrative and operational support for multiple units in the Africa Region, Europe and Central Asia Region for over 20 years. My responsibilities include maintaining Managers' emails and calendars, organizing audio/visual meetings and job interviews, processing travels, visa applications and SOEs. As Document Information Assistant, I filed a vast number of documents electronically by adhering to the institution's classification and security protocol and procedures. As Certified Event Manager, I organized numerous events including high-profile international conferences with foreign government officials, US department of state, Asian Development Bank, European Bank, Islamic Development Bank, and workshops, seminars, cultural events, etc. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English and American Literature from Meijigakuin University, Tokyo which has helped me develop strong communication and writing skills. As a volunteer, I served for a non-profit organization as Vice President and Event Directors over 15 years to assist the Japanese American community in the Washington metropolitan area.
