About Yuki Osako

English follows Japanese ANA2010MBA I am an experienced HR professional with multiple HR expertise (HRBP, C&B, L&D, Recruiting and Payroll/operations) I started my career at ANA (All Nippon Airways) in 2001. As was typical of building career in Japanese corporations, I developed skills in multiple departments such as customers service, service quality control, government relations and flight dispatcher. I left ANA in 2008 to pursue MBA at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. I learned there that motivating people is more important than creating "looking good" strategy for any organization to succeed. After my graduation, I changed my career and joined GE (General Electric) in Japan as HRLP (Human Resources Leadership Program). I learned different areas of HR such as Organization Development, HRBP, C&B and HR policy harmonization. After completion of the program, I spent one year working as HR/GA manager at a factory in Niigata prefecture, which GE acquired in 2011 to complete HR policy harmonization. Then I moved to pharmaceutical industry. After working as Commercial HRBP at Janssen Pharma KK, I joined Amgen K.K.(former Amgen Astellas BioPharma) and I was also Commercial HRBP(Sales, Marketing and Sales & Marketing Effectiveness) In addition to HRBP, I took concurrent positions of Recruiting, Organization Development and Operations. In 2019, I led transfer projects for Astellas secondees to join Amgen and the project ended with successful 80 % of transfer rate. I also participated in the transfer project from Celgene in dermatology area (due to the global acquisition) in the same year. With all the experiences at Amgen, I have taken HR/GA director roles in multinational pharmaceutical companies in Japan since 2021. I am registered as "Specified Labor and Social Insurance Attorney"(/Tokutei Shakai Hoken Romushi) Specialties: Post Merger Integration (PMI) of HR policies, HR business partner Employee Relations, Org development, Compensation & Benefits including Payroll and Sales Incentives, Japanese Labor Laws and Social Insurance and General Administration (GA) Language: English(fluent), French (intermediate) and Japanese (native) International experiences: Lived in 1 year in London, UK and 2 years in NH, US
