Public–Private & Policy Advisory professional with deep expertise in public policy and government affairs, specializing in policy-driven business and investment creation through public–private partnerships in decarbonization, energy transition, and climate resilience across Japan and the Asia-Pacific region. With experience spanning government, public financial institutions, and the private sector, I work at the intersection of policy, international negotiation, and business strategy, translating complex regulatory and geopolitical dynamics into actionable pathways for new business, investment, and market development. I have led strategic engagement with organizations such as ADB and OECD, and supported ministerial-level dialogues to align policy objectives with industry and financing capabilities. As a negotiator representing the Government of Japan at the COP, I have led negotiations on adaptation-related agenda items, including the Global Goal on Adaptation (GGA). This role required structuring options, navigating complex multilateral dynamics, and coordinating across ministries and stakeholders to enable decision-making at senior levels. My expertise includes public policy and government affairs, public–private partnership design, stakeholder management, and strategic advisory, with a track record in climate adaptation ranging from national monitoring frameworks to community-level implementation support.
