Yuling Gu is a Predoctoral Young Investigator on the Aristo team, at Allen Institute for AI (AI2). She graduated from New York University in 2020 with a B.A. in Computer Science and Language and Mind (a joint major comprising Linguistics, Psychology, and Philosophy). She recently completed her M.S. degree at the University of Washington, prior to joining AI2. Yuling is passionate about interdisciplinary research and is always excited to apply knowledge of machine learning techniques together with theories from the cognitive sciences in her work. Her research work covers various areas such as natural language processing, machine reasoning, psycholinguistics, speech processing, and information extraction.
