About Yulius Yonatan

I graduated with a degree in English Literature in 2008 and began my teaching journey shortly after. My passion for education first emerged when I taught part-time at Royal English Centre (REC) in Jelambar, Grogol. Although I initially considered an office career, I soon discovered that teaching was where I truly belonged. In 2009 I joined EF Pluit Center as a part-time local English teacher, handling four programs: Small Stars, High Flyers, Trailblazers, and Real English. The following year I moved to Bukit Sion School, where I dedicated 14 years (2010–2024) to teaching English across middle and high school levels. I taught Year 8, 9, 10, and 11 using Cambridge IGCSE and IELTS, served as English Club supervisor, trained the debate team, and acted as PIC for several internal English events. In 2017 I applied for the Japanese Government Scholarship for Teachers and was honored to be selected among 20 Indonesian teachers in the final screening. The process expanded my professional perspective and inspired further professional growth. During my later years at Bukit Sion, I also supported Year 9 students in preparation for Indonesia’s National Exam (UN). Currently, I am a teacher at Bunda Mulia School (SPK), where I teach Year 9 and serve as a homeroom teacher. I have also been appointed as PIC for several school events. I am actively seeking new job opportunities that align with my career goals and aspirations. I am excited about the prospect of exploring new challenges and making meaningful contributions to an innovative organization.
