I currently work as a Strategy / Marketing Excellence Manager at Bayer Japan, where I specialize in strategy development and commercial transformation. I have close to 1.5 years of experience working closely with marketing and leadership teams to structure problems, evaluate / define solutions, and formulate proposals for high-impact business issues. I lead cross-functional teams to upgrade existing go-to-market brand strategies and also to design / execute learning initiatives to improve cross-brand marketing capabilities. Prior to my work at Bayer Japan, I worked as an Associate Consultant at ZS, a global management consulting firm with a strong focus in the healthcare sector. I have over 3.5 years of experience providing business solutions to pharmaceutical companies on a wide range of topics including marketing and operations. A specialist in project management, I have lead various business-critical initiatives as the Project Management Lead, managing various stakeholders to achieve project completion. Being a native in both English and Japanese, I am an expert in leading communications and liaising between global and JP counterparts. Additionally, I have vast experience in customer segmentation, brand positioning, and primary market research. Prior to joining ZS, I worked in the field of basic research, studying the molecular mechanisms of embryonic stem cells as well as the immune system. I hold a B.A. in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and hold an M.S. in Cell & Developmental Biology from Weill Cornell Medicine.
