About Yunus Ruff

I am currently studying to become an economics engineer at ZHAW. I work also part time (40%) at KYBURZ Switzerland AG KYBURZ: I work in the battery recycling department where we are developing a revolutionary machine to recycle materials from a lithium-iron-phosphate battery. I am the lead automation developer for the recycling team. While being responsible for the maintenance of the current machine I also develop new machines and improvements. Because of my knowledge in Industry 4.0 I am also involved in the data gathering and digitalisation of processes at KYBURZ. I started at KYBURZ as electric maintenance specialist for our famous electric vehicles and transitioned to the 2ndLife department because sustainability is really important for me. ZHAW: Economics Engineers are efficiency masters. We learn a lot in the field of data analytics and process design to improve and optimize our world. Economics Engineers are professional desicion makers. Our skill portfolio of advanced data analytics, mathematics, programming and economics allows us to combine knowledge and assess the "best possible desicion"-> I will finish my first year of my bachelor in summer 2023
