About Yuri Brown

Active Duty Army Veteran and current leader in the US Army Reserves currently working for State Street Corporation as an Information Technology Specialist. For nearly two decades, I’ve worked to find threats and cultivate solutions to reduce risk and maximize effectiveness to operations, plans, and methods. I’ve honed my craft across numerous domains including austere environments while deployed to the Middle East; working with international partners while supporting NATO in Europe; and now in the digital realm influencing security policy across information systems to protect intellectual and proprietary information. My experience in the military has made me flexible and adaptable to a myriad of complex situations and responsibilities. I learn fast and apply lessons learned from previous responsibilities to make sound judgement calls and provide sound advice to industry leaders. I thrive as both an individual contributor as well as a manager and always strive to make the overall team stronger and more efficient. The wife of an Active Duty Soldier and mom to three growing boys, time management is my mantra. Ensuring the task is always complete while knowing when it’s time for family is important to me and I ensure that sentiment is felt and reflected with those I lead and manage.
