Reduced annual operating budget costs by $4M and malpractice costs by $10-$15M. BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP DEVELOPMENT. Consulted for Joint Task Force of the NCR to design simulation centers for new Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda integrating large-scale medical care training for Army and Navy. LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT. Designed and developed emergency airway management simulator, substantially reducing end-user costs (from $150K to $200 per unit), thereby extending accessibility across academics and healthcare systems. PATIENT SAFETY & QUALITY IMPROVEMENT. Improved diabetic patients’ personal participation in health care treatments through design and implementation of a PHR for corporate MedStar Health. Lowered care-related expenses by substantially reducing per patient ER visits and readmissions.
