For the last 20 years, I have lived and invested in Hudson River “Gold Coast” in New Jersey, across the River from Manhattan, from south of Jersey City to Englewood Cliffs, just north of George Washington Bridge, So, I am very familiar with the real estate market in this area, which area extensively has been developed in the last fifteen years. There is now a shortage of new construction on the Gold Coast, with over 150 potential buyers on a wait-list for 75 new river front condominium units that will be completed in the summer of 2015. The Jersey City-to-Englewood Cliffs area is again a high-demand real estate market, due to its proximity to Manhattan via ferry, bus, train, or car. The Gold Coast is truly a cosmopolitan neighborhood where one hears a variety of languages spoken by the residents and where children play everything from baseball-to-soccer-to-cricket.The global aspect of the Gold Coast is reflected in the fact that, in June of 2014, there will be the long-awaited F-1 Grand Prix running parallel with the Hudson River, spanning the east edges of the towns of West New York (where I live) and Weehawken.At Keller Williams, which became the largest US real estate firm as of this February, I assist both US residents/citizens and foreigners with their home purchases, investments, and related transactions (including short sales and leasing/renting) in the Gold Coast area.My expertise as a partner/principal at KPMG was in the area nonresident withholding tax on US investment.The combination of my real estate investment and tax experience and knowledge allows me to deliver expert, professional real estate service to my local and global clients.I am fluent in English, French, and Japanese and look forward to working with you.
