About Yusuke Menjo

I was granted a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics from Waseda University in March of 1989 and commenced employment with Sumitomo Realty & Development (SRD) in April of 1989. In May of 1991, I was dispatched to the hotel in Sydney Australia, which was owned by SRD and where I experienced day-to-day operations in each department of the hotel. I returned to SRD's Head office in Tokyo in August of 1993 and was promoted to the position of General Manager, Urban Development Department in April of 2007 with over 10 years of residential development experience. I started to oversee SRD's office in Dalian China as Chief Representative in April of 2010 and became General Manager at SRD's residential development subsidiary in Dalian in April of 2013. I was assigned as Head of London office in UK in April of 2014 and became President at SRD's development and investment subsidiary in California USA in April of 2016. I was transferred to our China entity in Dalian as General Manager in April of 2017, completed its development project and returned to SRD’s Head office in August of 2020 as General Manager, Land Development Department. In March 2025, I became the vice president of Sumitomo Fudosan Step Co, Ltd, a real estate brokerage subsidiary of Sumitomo Realty & Development, the position I hold to the present.
