About Yusuke Otsuka

I am a co-founder of Coincheck, one of Japan's largest crypto asset exchanges, and currently serve as Executive Officer in charge of Business Development at Coincheck Group (NASDAQ: CNCK). From 2014 I helped build Coincheck from zero through regulatory change, market volatility, and industry shocks—including the FTX crisis—and supported its sale to Monex Group in 2018. After the Group's De-SPAC listing on NASDAQ in 2024, I lead growth strategy: M&A, overseas market research, and VC partnerships, while contributing to corporate governance and risk management. I offer CEO coaching and support in organization strategy, hiring, and M&A. I hold an M.S. in Physics from Waseda University, with a focus on quantum theory and condensed matter. I combine that analytical background with hands-on experience in business development, product and marketing strategy, and stakeholder management to drive long-term growth and sustainable operations.
