About Yuto Sawada

I’m a Software Engineer and Researcher at FUJI Innovation Lab, currently based in Redmond, WA (Seattle area). Originally from FUJI Corporation in Japan, I’m now working at Fuji America Corporation, where I focus on developing innovative software solutions that connect manufacturing with cutting-edge technologies such as AI and IoT. Alongside my main role, I also engage in startup research, exploring how emerging technologies and business models can transform the future of industrial automation. I enjoy bridging the gap between stable corporate R&D and fast-paced startup innovation. My current mission is to build meaningful connections between Japan and the U.S. tech ecosystems, learning from both worlds and contributing to global innovation. Outside of work, I’m passionate about continuous learning — especially improving my English and exploring new ways technology can make people’s lives better.
