Dr. Yvan Devaux is a translational researcher with over 20 years of experience. He obtained his PhD from the University of Lorraine in France in 2001 and is currently leading the Cardiovascular Research team of the Luxembourg Institute of Health. He and his team focus their research on the discovery and validation of novel RNA biomarkers and therapeutic targets of heart and brain diseases. Yvan is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, an elected Nucleus Member of the Working Group on Myocardial Function of the European Society of Cardiology, a member of the National Plan for Neuro-Cardio-Vascular Disease, a Fellow Member of the Sciences Section of the Grand Ducal Institute of Luxembourg, the Founder and President of the non-profit organisation Cardiolinc, the past Chair of the CardioRNA COST Action, and the current Vice-Chair of the AtheroNET COST Action.
