About Yvan Dheur

I am passionate about Neurosciences, International Conflict Resolution, radical ideologies and Freedom of thinking. I have worked as social worker, Headhunter for top managers, CEO of a SME and an now employed by the Ministry of Justice for deMens.nu where I focus on international representation and interfaith diplomacy, I also work as Humanist Counsellor/Chaplain at Brussels airport and started as candidate Reserve Officer expert in interfaith dialogue. I have worked as a Social worker with a very varied set of 'clients'​ going from delinquents to mentally disabled, from homeless to drug addicted, and am still developing social work with Rotaract and Rotary. One of my research with mentally disabled was as aimed to develop empowerment methods and enhance their political awareness to allow the best elements to be able to learn how to vote (objective training not attached to a specific political philosophy). Worked actively to the development of democratic empowering structures of both Free Universities of Brussels and to the development of the freedom of thinking of the university community. Worked as head hunter in the fifth world's largest Executive Search firm. The team merged with KFI the number one Executive Search firm in the world. I developed a SME company and sold it after having tripled the sales. I then started studying International Conflict and Security studies to dedicate my life to Human Rights, peace and conflict resolution and United Nations related work. My current specialities are Information Management and EU-UN lobbying and I specialise in radical fundamentalism, extreme ideologies, and societal change management.
