PhD in Chemical Engineering with an MASc in Electrical engineering, and a BEng in Mechanical engineering. Ten years of research experience on topics including lithium battery and supercapacitors, nanomaterials, mathematical modeling, organic and inorganic synthesis. Expert in carbon anode materials (graphite and hard carbon) for lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and supercapacitors. Characterization techniques such as XRD, XPS, SEM, TGA, DSC, Raman and Infrared spectroscopy. Coin cell pressing, electrode fabrication and material synthesis - colloidal suspension, covalent bonding of active material, hydrothermal growth, microwave-assisted deposition, acidic etching, thermal reduction, chemical exfoliation. Trained on ARBIN, MACCOR and Biologic VMP3, MPG2 electrochemical cyclers. Proficient in compiling and analyzing data from experiments using coding in MATLAB, C++ as well as and excel. Proficient in technical drawing using computer assisted design software such as AUTOCAD, pro-Engineer and SOLIDWORKS Bi-lingual English and French with excellent oral and written communication skills in - delivered presentations to different audiences (students and faculty members), proficient in manuscript and report writing, etc. Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and produce publishable results.
