About Yves Collette
PhD Biologist in Virology by training at the Free University of Bruxelles in Belgium, I completed a post-doctoral internship in Onco-immunology in Marseille with the support of an European Community Fellowship and was then recruited as researcher by INSERM in 1998, Research Associate at the Institut Paoli Calmettes (2008) and INSERM Research Director (2008). Currently head of the TrGET Preclinical Platform at the Institut Paoli Calmettes (Centre de Lutte Contre le Cancer) and head of the Integrated Structural and Chemical Biology (ISCB) Team at the Cancer Research Centre of Marseille (an INSERM/CNRS/Université Aix-Marseille/IPC Comprehensive Cancer Center), my main objectives are to explore novel reservoirs of therapeutic targets in oncology and to develop new integrated approaches in personalized medicine. As deputy directory @CRCM and as scientific coordinator @ the IPC my objectives are to bridge researchers and clinicians into a translational continuum and to strengthen partnership opportunities with Pharmaceutical companies.
