My name is Yves Deckers and I have been working for Hillewaere since 2020. In 2010 I made the switch from property manager to brokerage. I love to make the connection between clients with their specific housing needs and the property they choose as their new home. In addition, I am very passionate about architecture. I sometimes compare myself to a ballpoint pen. You need a ballpoint pen to send a card or to write down a nice message, but a pen is also indispensable for important things such as signing a contract. As a real estate agent you assist people at important moments in their lives and you ensure with your expertise that everything runs correctly from A to Z. As a real estate agent, you sometimes experience special things. For example, we also like to help people in difficult situations. There was once a fire on the top floor of a customer's house. We then helped his family by temporarily renting out a vacant building, which was for sale with us, to them. Sometimes you really have to think 'out of the box' to bring things to a successful conclusion and keep going for it. I like working for Hillewaere because it is an innovative company that works very progressively. Moreover, the customer is really central, everything must always be tip top in order.
