About Yvette Carnot

With 23 years of dedicated experience in veterinary medicine, I have built a comprehensive career spanning all facets of general practice, emergency, and specialty veterinary care. My professional journey has been driven by a commitment to delivering compassionate patient care while empowering pet owners through education and support. I joined Bayou City Veterinary Hospital 11 years ago shortly after its opening, beginning as a Veterinary Technician before advancing to Client Service Representative and ultimately to my current role as Practice Manager. This progressive career path has provided me with invaluable insights into every aspect of veterinary practice operations. After earning my Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) certification through VHMA, I was honored to join the board of the Houston Veterinary Practice Managers Alliance (HVPMA), where I actively contribute to advancing our profession and supporting fellow practice managers throughout the region. My expertise encompasses comprehensive practice management, team leadership, client relations, and operational excellence. I am passionate about fostering environments where both teams and patients thrive, while continuously pursuing professional development opportunities to stay at the forefront of veterinary practice management. Outside of my professional responsibilities, I am a dedicated mother to three daughters, whom I raise alongside my husband, Joseph. I maintain an active lifestyle through weight training and running, often accompanied by my loyal companion, Drax the Destroyer, my black long-haired German Shepherd.
