About Yvette Donde

As a Bilingual Crisis Clinician I at Family Behavioral Health (Catholic Community Services), I specialize in crisis intervention, short- and long-term stabilization, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive support. I bring experience working with youth, neurodivergent individuals, and immigrant families, consistently de-escalating over 300+ crises annually. My path into mental health advocacy is deeply personal. As an immigrant, I’ve faced cultural and systemic barriers that have shaped my passion for healing, empowerment, and representation. I’ve lost over 200 lbs through running, became a medical interpreter, and built a career at the intersection of social services, wellness, and advocacy. In 2020, I founded Latinx Run The USA, a nonprofit that inspired over BIPOC individuals nationwide through community, movement, and mindset. Though the nonprofit is no longer active, its legacy continues in the lives it impacted. My background includes a degree in Psychology from the University of Washington, prior experience in journalism, marketing, and research, and recognition in Runner’s World and Univision. I am also the host of the weekly Spanish-language wellness radio show ConSentido, and a proud alum of Class 9 of the Janes Fellowship Program from the Russell Foundation. Currently, I’m finishing a UX Design Certificate through Google, and this fall, I’ll begin my Master of Arts in Family and Couple Counseling at Pacific Lutheran University—further deepening my commitment to serving families with empathy and cultural humility. I value equity, community-led change, and whole-person wellness, and I believe in turning lived experience into healing and leadership. Let’s connect!
