As a native New Orleanian, I'm passionate about preserving the built environment and cultural heritage of the city. I've worked for the City of New Orleans since obtaining my Master's Degree in Preservation Studies at Tulane University, where I specialized in the history of Southeastern Louisiana's vernacular architecture, focusing on historiography, and the stories we tell about place. In my career, I've been honored to have had the chance to work on large scale projects like Gallier Hall and Madame John's Legacy, in addition to assisting private homeowners in making rehabilitation decisions for their historic homes. I meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards in History and Architectural History, and I look forward to preserving our city's treasures for future generations.
