About Yvonne McNulty

I specialize in serving clients in the not-for-profit and healthcare sectors. While I have a heavy focus on charitable and religious organizations, I also assist clients in the construction and manufacturing and distribution industries. Many of my clients are based in northern Ohio and throughout Michigan, but I provide technical expertise to clients across the United States. My clients appreciate that I know the audit process from their perspective because, years ago, I was a controller for a public entity that was audited by a “Big 8” firm. Having been on both sides of the relationship, I know how important it is to listen. Clients count on me to craft a business strategy with proper reporting as new opportunities arise. I believe my greatest contributions to the firm are my “say yes” attitude and my flexibility. These attributes were essential in helping with Plante Moran’s expansion into different markets. I started in Mt. Clemens, helped Plante Moran launch the Toledo office, and joined the Cleveland office to develop the audit healthcare team. Finally, I returned to Toledo when the need arose for an office managing partner. I love traveling, especially going on cruises. For my sabbatical, I had the privilege of taking a 22-day Mediterranean cruise with my extended family. I also enjoy reading and spending time with my husband. I’m a member of the AICPA, the Ohio Health Care Association, the Construction Financial Management Association, and I serve on the boards of the Toledo Public Schools Foundation and Goodwill Industries. I’m also involved with Achievement Centers for Children and various other charitable organizations.
