About Zac Baughurst
My name is Zac and I am a Bsc Psychology Graduate from the University of Kent. I am currently an apprentice Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) at Kent and Medway NHS Talking Therapies service, studying at Level 6 with the University of Exeter. Before my apprenticeship, I lived in Vietnam, working as an English teacher, gaining valuable experience working with children and developing my communication skills. Outside of my role, I completed two Vietnamese language courses. Before moving to Vietnam, I worked as a Research Assistant, and I worked and volunteered within the charity and mental health sectors. I was a Level 5 Nighttime volunteer with Shout UK, talking with 200 vulnerable adults, adolescents and children struggling to cope with their mental health. My interests are child (and language) development, social psychology and mental health.
