Background
About Zac Robbins
First off, I love Jesus. Secondly, everything I do or will have done could only be possible through His endless grace and mercy. My career summary is this: I Felt a calling to ministry before my senior year of highschool. After my fall semester my youth pastor asked me to come on as a part-time intern for the church. I was stoked, excited, all of the words. Two months into the internship came the pandemic. Thankfully, my youth pastor was transitioning roles into our Church's food-bank director, so I told him I want to help. I was there three times a week, enough to continue my internship. As the summer approached, restrictions lessened in my state, and I was back to working with the youth. I moved into a full-time role for the summer, and through that saw God move in some mighty ways. I witnessed countless people being fed, kids coming to Jesus, and the mission of God coming to fruition. Seeing how amazing ministry could be, I felt all the more confirmed of my life's calling. Going into college was a challenge. A daily balance of schoolwork, ministry, eating, sleeping, all on top of track and field. Before my first summer, I was feeling a lot of burnout. I really didn't want to go back to school, and especially not athletics. I began to process my freshman year while working at the amazing Camp War Eagle. There, I realized a deep calling on my life to go and serve the nations: not later, but now. However, as I began to wrestle through what that would look like, I felt God continuing to tell me to stay put at school and on the team for one more year. So I did that, I stayed put. I shared the Gospel with teammates, and discipled a young man to do the same. I saw God work as international students heard the Gospel for the first time. I received All-Big 12 honors in the Weight Throw (humble brag). Finally, I went back to War Eagle, and got to walk alongside many young men as they put their Faith in Jesus. I think He knew what he was doing. That leaves me here, in Kosovo, where I type this summary. I will be here for the next year, doing the work of the Kingdom, before going back to Stillwater for my Senior Year. God is moving. I'm just glad to be a part of it.
